Recap from the seminar in Zurich

There were 42 participating guests attending in beautiful Zurich and the venue Zunthaus zur Waag, a typical Swiss styled house with colored art inspired glass windows. This was an afternoon seminar which started at 14:30 and ended with a mingle buffet which was very appreciated by the participants. The SAA was represented by Mrs. Satu Palmgren with local support from the Swegon SA representatives.

The theme of the seminar was ”Acoustics, cooling and controls, key factors for optimum conditions” and there were three specialists invited from different fields of work within these areas. The first speaker of the day was Engineer Walter Lips who spoke about acoustics in buildings. Acoustics is often a part of the construction process where invested money is not used to a maximum effect.

Then Alain de Brot from Siemens spoke about BMS systems in the future, monitoring energy consumptions and giving the user a good overview and flexibility. The last speaker was Patrick Götz, teacher from Technikerschule TS Kälte Bern who spoke about cooling needs in the future from an environmental point of view.

Swegon Air Academy seminars will take a break over the summer months, but the staff within SAA is working continuously with upcoming seminars which starts in September again. The first ones out are seminars in Norway and Germany. You can keep yourself updated on the website.

The SAA-team wishes you a great summer and hope to see you in one of our upcoming seminars in the autumn.
